Tara's Territory
The journey begins....... Welcome to my home page. Seems everyone has one now...so hey...I'm in.*g* I'll give you some insight in to my life and then you too can agree how marvelous I am.*lol* I was born blonde...need I say more? Actually I was born in Liverpool,England. I am the middle child of 5 and my mom is English and my dad was American. My dad was military so I have lived in and visited many wonderful places in and out of America. A few of the places I have lived are England,Michigan,Maine,Guam,New York and Las Vegas. My home now is in beautiful...sunny California. I have lived here almost 5 years on the central coast. My happiness would be complete if my honey also lived here. But alas he is in Canada at the moment...but not for long if I get my way.*g* My honey's name is Alan or as he is known in Poolside Chat and among our friends there Spike. Yes our eyes met across a crowded chat room...and it was....magic.*s* Alan and I met back in May and we both seemed to know right away this was special. I finally got to meet this wonderful man in October.*s* It was a magical journey that lead me to fully understand what an incredible man he is.*s* We're both working on getting him here to California. The waiting is the hardest part.... My interests include chatting with my wonderful friends at poolside (some of the greatest people you will ever meet),music, movies and long walks along the sunny beach. Another interest ofmine...which I have had since I can remember is writing poetry. I've always enjoyed putting down my thoughts....feelings...memories...etc. One of my goals for the New Year is to take a creative writing course. Not for publishing reasons, as my poems and writings are very personal to me....but to be able to better express my thoughts. BTW.....credit to my getting a homepage can be given to my beautiful cyber sister Venus. She's the reason I'm sane...or was it insane? Well it doesn't matter...we are both blonde and understand each other well. Yes...we find that scarey.*g* I'll be updating my page as I learn new tricks and have more to say. So thanks for visiting....and
donations can be sent to......*grin*

I just want to tell you a little about my sweetie.*s* Alan was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. He is currently working on getting his Accounting Certificate. He has put so much of himself in to reaching this goal....and his hard work has paid off. His grade average is very impressive. I'm so proud of his accomplishments and in awe of his tenacity.*s* A few of his interests include.....
> Chatting in our fave chat place on the whole net Poolside
>Fishing
>Listening to music
>....and of course making me happy.(my fave*g*)
>Anyone that know's Alan immediately see's the warm, caring, fun and charming man he is.*s*
>He's the best.*s*
The love of my life.
Music I can not remember a time when music hasn't been in my life or been an important part of my life. From a little girl waking up on weekend mornings to my parents playing their fave music (I get my love of music from them)...to now when songs still weave a magic...and take me back to precious moments in my life.
>Some of the biggest influences are....
>Joni Mitchell: I have listended to Joni from Blue on...and she has the most unique way of speaking in her songs that lets them become your own.
>Ella Fitzgerald: What can I say about Ella that the world doesn't already know? Her voice finds its way inside the listener and weaves the most beautiful stories. I saw her many years ago and the power and beauty of her voice are etched in me forever.
>Bob Dylan: Yeah he's nasely alright....but who else can say what he says...in the way he says it? I haven't listened to his newer stuff as much...but the older songs hold many meanings.
>Fiona Apple: This young singer is new...but her voice and songs are electrifying and haunting. I look forward to her second album.
>Jackson Browne: I've seen Jackson Browne in concert a couple of times and have owned at one time or another all his music. I could never pick a fave song of his because too many hold such special feelings for me.
> I could go on...but you get the idea. Opps..can't forget The Boss Bruce Springsteen...Seeing him in concert was incredible. I have never seen so many people in one place so mesmerized. I can still see myself driving around in my car screaming "Born to run" not a pretty sight.*g*
